It's kinda stupid to write my own review when there's alr a review in hardwarezone posted by fish. lol.
Alright, if some of u out there tink tat there's no difference between a 2 megapixel camera and a 3.2 megapixel camera, you are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking wrong.
Now here's my actual review.
Sony Ericsson k800i
Pros
1. User-friendly
2. High resolution pics wif great clarity
3. Alot of functions
4. Value for money (558 with plan and without trade in currently)
Cons
1. Large in size (doesn't realli matter much to me lol, but to others, maybe)
Some points i wanna describe further
2. High resolution pics and videos wif great clarity
It's all thanks to the 3.2 megapixel camera wif auto focus. It's equipped wif a flash, and it is not the same as those u can find on ordinary camera phones. The flash that's equipped to the phone is wat digital cameras haf, Xenon flash. It eliminates red eye problem and ensures tat pics can still be taken clearly at poor lighting conditions. The camera also has a video stabilizer function. BestPic™ function is also present in this phone, whereby u can take 9 consecutive shots n choose the best pic out of those 9 n save it into ur phone. Here's one great example of a pic i took: (go buy 4D if u all wanna)
3. Alot of functions
K800i can serve as a modem when connected to phone, n it can go as fast as 256 kbps (before u do tat, u gotta subscibe to tat service, and it's pretty expensive). It can also be treated as a mp3 player, as the memory can be expanded wif Memory Stick Micro™ (1GB released juz recently) so that u can upload more songs into ur phone. You can also do online picture blogging with k800i to share ur pic to other pple in the world. It's also 3G phone. k800i supports the PictBridge standard, juz connect the phone directly to a PictBridge compliant printer and u can print photos straight away without usin a PC. It also has a RSS reader (for automatic online software updates.) This phone also comes wif Bluetooth and InfraRed. The port u see at the bottom of the phone can be used for charging battery, listening to mp3 using a headset and connect to the PC via USB. Conclusion : Multitask wif k800i, be engaged in a call or listen to the music player or FM radio while you search for information on the Web.
Overall Rating: 10/10
